at the bare minimum you could take 10-20 grams of BCAA's. some whey and carbs would be a much better option. performing resistance training in a catabolic state is a huge mistake if you are looking to increase LBM.

10-20g of BCAAs before doing cardio on an empty stomach is great for fatloss. I wouldn;t resistance train on an empty stomach though,

the reason why I ask is because i use no-xplode w/ cex pre-wo and if i take any type of food before i work out i dont feel the kick as much from the supplements! when I take the no-xplode w/ cex on an empty stomach i get a massive rush of energy and vascularity! I just dont want to diminish the effects and thats what seems to happen if i eat before taking thse supps!!

If it were just cardio, you would be fine, but if you are weight training you should at least hit some whey and fats.
