I recently started a high-street creatine preparation (Holland and Barrat) which mixes to an (allegedly) grape flavour. It is foul, which since I am in the loading phase presents fairly serious problems…… I am almost unable to drink it, whilst it falls rapidly out of solution.
My initial plan had been to take this first, and then hunt around the internet for a better deal. I had given consideration as to which prep to take, but taste hadn’t crossed my mind.
I am now seriously considering tablets, or wonder if anyone can recommend a mix which is drinkable! The problem with tablets is that at 20g/day loading it would probably be >20 tablets a day! Perhaps pure powder is the best way forward?
Personally i wouldnt go with caps its not very cost effective. I would go for bulk unflavoured monohydrate powder and mix it with grape juice / apple juice. If your in the uk which im guessing you are, you can get buy in bulk from www.wheyconsortium.co.uk and www.myprotien.co.uk
