If everything you eat tastes like fish, you know you're taking enough.

It depends on your weight and goals (cutting, bulking). I weigh 224 lbs and am bulking so I take 15 caps a day.

As per Jodi's sticky 'guide to...' in the diet forum, you need 1-2tbsp EFA's per day. 1FOC = 1g fat so 1tbsp = ~13 foc caps . BUT you need to look into your total diet and see if you are getting efa's from other sources as well.

Cod liver oil is high in vit-A. Watch out for vit-A toxicity, depending on what your total vit-A consumption is.
.....The exception is cod liver and fish oil supplements, which can cause vitamin A and D toxicity when taken in excess......

I take two caps of Bio-Genesis EPA/DHA a day, and I eat a lot of smoked salmon.

salmon..is toooo much bad for you

anyone heard or have read on "salmon." I am on a strict eating plan and it includes three-four fish meals a week. I enjoy eating it. However, a friend told me in her nut. class she remembered talking about too much "salmon" is not good for you. i can only find in regards to mercury intake, but you would have to eat a lot. Also, too much omega's-3 can cause blood to the brain, but also you would have to eat tons of it. Any info. links or websites anyone might know about, in regards to this.
