    Melatonin

Is this good or bad? Is it something I should use as a sleep aid?

I use it from time to time. Start out with 3mg. Make sure you are going to get at least 7hrs of sleep or it can make you really groggy when you awake. I use 6mg personally but most find 3mg to be sufficient. Knocks me out in about 45 minutes, I wake up a little groggy but that feeling usually disapates after an hour or so.

I love melatonin. I fall asleep good, and stay asleep, dreamin good vivid dreams. And best of all, I wake up refreshed. Its great stuff.

Just like Sly says... definitely works for me. 3mg is all I need, too. Really do be careful if you plan to get less than 7 or 8 hours of sleep, no joke!

Chances are that you'll wake up really groggy and you're gonna wonder where your pants are. Or what you did last night...

Or you might sleep through your alarm clock (I speak from experience on this one hahahahaha!).

It makes me spacy as hell the next day. If I have a lot of school shit to do the next day, I just opt for a sleepless night and caffeine rather than taking melatonin, but it might not be like this for you.

the GNC brand is like 4 bucks for like 40 pills that are 3 miligrams each. I prefer Melatech though. 80 bucks a bottle, but it has a cooler looking label on it. Hell, its worth the extra 76 bucks.
