    Zma

    does ZMA possibly create a timed sleeping pattern? i have been taking ZMA and it causes a refreshing sleep , but for me only about 6-7 hours!! that is even on the days i can sleep in, is it possibly causing a shift in hormones to actually createe a cyclical effect so no change is made in my sleeping patterns so the right hormones at the right time can be released? any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Despite what the masses may say, ZMA doesn't do shit for test levels. It can possibly balance your circadian rhythm, but other than that, its not good for much.

    Circadian rhythm is a 24 hour activity cycle that basically balances your sleeping patterns among other things. It is basically a fancy way of saying you sleep at night and are awake in the day. ZMA basically is crap, except that it can help balance sleeping patterns, meaning staying asleep at night longer without waking up, more REM sleep, deeper sleep and all that nice crap, which is basically what your circadian rhythm is based off of. Some people believe it actually controls hormone levels, but I dont know about this, like the production of melatonin when your retina senses a decrease in light. I should have just said it can help you sleep.
