    Omega 6's , edited.

Is there any omega 3, I mean 6, supplements out there that arent fish oil? I take in all flax for my efas and was reading that all I am doing is worseing my 3-6 ratios even further. The thing is I dont want to be tasteing fish in my shakes, and I dont like taking caps.

edited, I meant omega 6, not omega 3s.

Flax is fine for Omega 3's

Fish Oil is prefered because the EPA/DHA is already occuring and doesn't need to be converted ineffeciently like Flax

I understand flax has omegas 3s, but the ratio of 3-6 is 3 to 1. So I am just making the imbalance of 3-6 even more prominent. The only other source of efas in my diet is natty pb, which I believe also has the same imbalance as flax. Thats why I was looking for a omega 6 only fat source. Oh shit I just realized the title is omega 3s, sorry I mean omega 6s.

If you think you are not providing a 1:1 Balance of n3 and n6 then Udo's Choice would be a good choice.

However I wouldn't worry about it you are more than likely getting more than enough n6 from elsewhere in your diet.

There are studies linking flax oil to prostate cancer. For this reason, I switched to fish oil exclusively.

I am not really sure there is a connection, but "when in doubt" why not just take the fish oil.
