Its bullshit.. they basically charge more saying its 'buffered'. Buy mono, or a newer version(tri creatine malate/cee).

From their US patent filing here's the summary:-

    SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to an oral creatine supplement and the method of making this supplement which includes mixing an alkaline powder with a powdered creatine until the pH of the mixture is in the range between 7-14. A powdered additive is added to the mixture for improving sweetness and taste. Finally, a further alkaline powder is added to the mixture to adjust the pH of the mixture to a range between 7-14. This mixture is then mixed with water prior to ingestion.
If you think adding an alkaline powder to creatine is revolutionary go ahead and buy it.

Its not worthless, its just over priced. Like Redspy posted, there is nothing spectacular about it..

I like how you purchased it, then asked

I use it and I like it, works great for me; however, I haven't had much experience with too many other brands.

I use scifit Kre-alkalyn in pill form. Fantastic product. Overpriced??? Not at all, its one of the cheapest forms of creatine you can buy. 29.99 for 240 pills. Im taking 2 pre and 2 post workout. 2 pills equals 1.5g. I have been using these for the past month and have put on some great mass and getting some good pumps. I highly reccomend this product.

I think you need to quantify that statement a little more. As an example:-

    Kre-alkalyn - Servings Per Container: 120 - Price $29.99
    ON's Creatine powder: (2000g) Servings Per Container: 400 - Price $38

He also said he was getting 1.5g per serving... The ON powder is 5g.

    SciFit Kre-Alkalyn Powder, 500 Grams

    500 $0.07$34.95

500 servings. 7 cents a serving. Cant beat it. It doesnt require 5 g like creatine mono and other forms, you have to remember that.

Here's what I don't understand; from their US patent filing the formulation is listed below. Note that it's based on monohydrate and the magical "alkaline powder"

    Creatine Monohydrate 5000 mg
Sugar (from dextrose, fructose, sucrose, 10-15 g
    or a type of sugar)
    Maltodextrin (from corn and/or rice) 5-10 g
    Soda Ash 50 mg-1.5 g
    Natural and/or Artificial Flavors 2 g
Magnesium Glycerol Phosphate 500 mg-->>> "alkaline powder?"
Aspartame, Acesulfame K, Sucralose 200 mg
    and/or Stevia Extract
    (Powder mix can be with/without
    flavors, sugars or sweeteners)
So does this mean I could take 1.5g of monohydrate with a stomach antacid (aluminium salts, magnesium salts or sodium bicarbonate) and get the same results? I would say the formulation is underdosed, but of course I could be wrong.

I just bought PBL Kre-Alkalyn. It's my first creatine product - I'll report back with results later. I got a 100g bottle for a little under $30.
