    Question Amino Acids

I was just wondering why some amino pills only contain 3 amino acids (L-Leucine , L-Isoleucine , L-Valine ) and others contain like 12 different amino acids but not as many milligrams as the 3 above. Are these the three that work best for the body and that is why they have these singled out? Another question. I know a guy that takes 3 amino pills (The type with about 12 different amino acids) every 4 hours with about 500mg of vitamin C. He claims the amino's and the vitamin C put the body in an anabolic state and in turns helps the muscle more. Is this true or not?

    Thanks

"The branched chain amino acids, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, & L-Valine are intimately involved in muscle protein synthesis & maintaining positive nitrogen balance. L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine & L-Valine should always be taken in combination with each other, not singularly. "
