    Help an Ignorant Noob??

    Hello,

I don't have any goals right now to become a bodybuilder. However, I'm 39yo and my workouts don't seem to have the same effect anymore. I'm 6'3, 180 pounds, pretty skinny with too much gut for my frame (not a whole lot , though) If it matters, I'm also hypothyroid (odd for a skinny guy) and have slightly too high cholesterol (my doc says this could be related). They've also inreased my T4 dose a few times since I was diagnosed a few years back. I read some study that said testosterone levels could have an effect on thyroid production.

I'm basically thinking that a testosterone supplement might help me get some mass, could help my thyroid condition, and generally give some "youth" back.

I've been hearing about testosterone cream, and I thought you guys would be the ones to give me the real scoop. I'm open to hearing about diet, workout tips (I use a high intensity low rep until complete failure), but my main question is: can these creams do me some good, are there any bad effects to watch out for, and what are some good places to get a quality product for the best price? Thanks in advance!

what creams are you talking about?

if it has real testosterone in it, i.e. Androgel, you will need an Rx from a doctor, and to get that you will need a valid medical reason.

Before giving your money to Prince, maybe you should get your diet and training down. Supplements aren't worth a shit if your diet and training are poor.

This is what I'm talking about - I think there are others. It doesn't appear that you need an Rx to get it ???

If that contains real testosterone it is illegal to sell/buy it without an Rx, I highly doubt that it really contains testosterone, so it is most likely crap and you will be wasting your money.

the point being, that in the USA "testosterone' is a highly controlled drug/substance, class III scheduled, which means it is a felony to posess without an Rx, so unless that company is engaging in some highly illegal activities the supplement is garbage and they are misleading people.
