    Too Old???

    When is too old to start using the gear? I have never used and I am completely ignorant to all of it. I have been working out for about 13 years now. I am 6' tall and 190 lbs. Some of my lift totals are:

    Bench 290
    Squat 365
    Dead 315.

    My BF is about 18-20 percent.

    Age= 39

    Any thoughts?

    I know that there are many medical reason to use steroids. I guess what I am asking here is it worth it at 39 years of age? I have decent strength and look fine......................but the temptation has always been there!!!!

    doesn't make sense to me for a guy at 18-20% bodyfat to think of running a cycle. (jmho)

    Personally, I see no reason for a 39 year old to start messing with his hormones, but that is just my opinion.

    what would be the difference between starting at 39 years old and starting at 29 years old? Why wouldn't you mess with your hormones at 39?

    So, Not a good Idea if I am looking to add some significant size? Or should I even worry about it if I have no plans to compete?

    You just have to weigh the pros and cons and decide for yourself. Plenty of guys start using juice at your age. Sounds like you are happy with strength and appearance, so I don't see why you would use.

    I guess I just feel that at almost 40 years of age there are more important things to focus on, like your health, just my opinion though.
