    Confused about Creatine

I went to a local GNC store today and looked at the creatine to only be totally confused with all the different types and I have no idea which suppliment I should get. I have currently been taking MLO Mus-l Blast 2000+ This tastes great and I think I've gained some weight/mass because of it but my friends are telling me that creatine is the best suppliment to use and I've been looking on the board here about the "water weight" I am still young and looking to gain in weight and muscle mass to gain some shape. What do you guys suggest.

P.S. I don't want something that's going to really taste horrible and make me suffer for trying to gain weight/mass.

i used Pure Creatine from Prolab and mixed it with glutamine and grape juice powder. I heard the ISS type brand of creatine is amazing too.

you attribute the gaining of the 12lbs to using creatine?

Well, I am confused at exactly what your question is?

As far as creatine I just bought some Micronized creatine by Met-Rx for $10 at Wal-Mart. I plan on mixing it with my EAS protein shake in the morning (1 teasponn = 5 grams; 1 bottle = 40 servings).

Oh, well it depends if you want one that has dextrose and flavoring, such as Celltech.
If you plan on mixing your own then you can just buy a small bottle of micronized creatine.

Mixing? nah, I just need one where you can just like put it in your milk or water or whatever. Like the one I'm using now is like a chocolate one, I put 2-3 scoops in with a glass of milk, put it in the blender and I'm done. Does creatine have any of that stuff?

Cell Tech has done the best for me so far. I used to use only SPORTPHARMA products because PROMAX protein was about the easiest to use and had a descent taste.Almost every company has some type of creatine either plain powder, dextrose mix,or effervescent. Some of these co's have all in one powders that have glutamine, creatine, and various other transport aiding nutrients. You could go to different supplement co. sites & request a catalog.
You'll go thru alot of supp's that waste your time and $$ until you find what works best for you.GOOD LUCK!!

I've used creatine with any sort of carb drinks but the best so far is Cell-Tech. Creatine with milk is not the way to go. You want to spike your insulin level to drive the glucose/creatine into the muscle. Milk does not cause enough of an insulin spike to deposit much of anything in the muscle.
    Another Set Now!!

I have been using the MLO Mus-l Blast 2000 powder and I mix it with milk, is it fine if I add some ice cubes to make it colder/thicker or will that effect anything.
