Lawsuit settled to tune of $578,000

Swimmer Kicker Vencill formerly of the Irvine Novaquatics was banned nearly two years ago from competitive athletics after testing positive for 19-norandrostendione. He claimed it was cross-contamination from a multi-vitamin which was later confirmed--the pill actually had three steroids in it! He sued and a jury awarded him a little over $578,000. The company is "Ultimate Nutrition"
