    Maltodextrin

    I buy a whey that has maltodextrin in it, is this a good carb ?

    its ok post workout but not particulary good at any other time of the day

    as a carb

    So maltodextrin isn't a good carb to get my carbs with ? I'm not sure how much carbs I need yet. I'm fairly active all day.

    it depends what your using it for, used pre or during a workout its a good source of energy but if your using it in a meal replacement there are better options with a lower GI

    Its in my whey suppliment, but can also be bought as a carb suppliment, I use the whey protein on my cereal in the morning and after workouts or to get my daily protein quata .
