    Banning of Vitamins?

I know we've posted on this topic before, but does anyone have any links to more information on this? Is it the UK that's the forefront to do this? The EU? I can't remember, but I'm trying to work on a project with this subject at hand. So if anyone had any info, I'd be much obliged. Thanks!

The statue of Liberty no longer reads "Bring us your tired, your hungry, your huddled masses..."
Now she's holding a baseball bat and it reads "Bring It On."

Hmm... one link says the EU AG ruled against it, but then there's this:

    Which is correct?

Ok - completely off the topic at hand, but along the same lines....

We had trouble here in Australia because our vitamin and supplement industry had no regulation. The major company, who shall remain nameless, producing them all was basically whacking any stuff they could find into all of the products, using unclean manufacturing plants, etc etc and just doing whatever the hell they want to do. They got caught out and suddenly everyone realised that because vitamins and supplements weren't considered drugs they had no way to properly regulate them - and we all know that if you over do a vitamin for instance, it can kill you, and the other products, well, half of them have never been medically/scientifically tested.

At the time they said major changes would came about because of new laws they were trying to pass etc. Only difference now is that no one buys the brandname of the drug company who shall remain nameless.

There does need to be some regulation - or otherwise god knows what you're taking and god knows what it could do to you.

p.s scopes.com is one of my fav sites :P
