    Bulk Nutrition's CEE

I just got some of BN's Creatine Ethyl Ester. When I got it, the bottle was not sealed and there were no instructions on how much to take. For those of you who have bought BN's CEE, did your bottles come unsealed, too?

Pretty much the only thing written on this bottle is "1/4 Teaspoon = 410mg" - I have read that people have been having good results with 3g preworkout, then another 3g postworkout. Since 3g = 3,000 mg, does that mean I should be taking more than 1-3/4 tsp of this stuff preworkout, and then another 1-3/4+ tsp PWO? I remember with regular creatine monohydrate (GNC brand) it was only 1 tsp total. I was under the impression that CEE's dosage was about half of monohydrates?

I realize that powder measurements vary by density/brand, so I am asking specifically about Bulk Nutrition's CEE (where 1/4 teaspoon = 410mg).

I don't know about the density of CEE, but if that label is accurate, and I would assume it is... then I think you are right about the dosage. Like 1.8tsp I guess.

About the sealing... all I have from BN (under the name 1Fast400) is GABA, and I don't believe it is sealed, because of the way they sell in bulk. I assume they just get massive sealed amounts, and then distribute it into smaller portions to sell.

I just bought some CEE from BN recently too and it wasnt sealed...on the site it tells you that it would not be sealed to help cut costs. As for the doseage it all depends on how much you think you need...me and a buddy are taking 1 heaping GAWD-AWFUL tsp at least twice a day. DOnt know if its the right amount or not.

Hey, I can take take some pretty nasty stuff but this will be HARD to finish off. My buddy bought some at the same time and he wasnt aware of the notorious "flavor". He put his finger in it and licked it and it was like someone slapped him in the face! I laughed until I took MY dose...woo! So far I have tried mixing it in crystal light and a stawberry protein shake and they dont even PHASE the taste. I wish I was exaggerating but Im not. I will say one thing though...i measure out a heaping tsp and it dissolves almost INSTANTLY..no chunks or crystals like you get with regular creatines.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I think I'm going to start off trying a little over 1 tsp pre workout and 1+ tsp PWO. I may decide to up it to 1.5 tsp or more later.

BiggerNstronger is right, this stuff does taste GAWD AWFUL -> -> -> -> ; it took me about five minutes to finish my preworkout dose - I felt like I was on Fear Factor drinking a bug or horse balls shake. But I gotta say, I tried the Crystal Light suggestion for my PWO dose, and it definately helps, although the horrid taste of the CEE is still noticably there.

at least one heaping tsp pre workout. You should take a minimum of 5 grams/day.

I have been considering taking CEE from Bulk Nutrition. However, everyone seems to report that the taste is terrible. Could the powder be put into capsules? Would it lose any of its potency if that was done? This could help get around the bad taste.

Actually, I found that mixing Crystal Light with each glass makes it bearable. You get used to it, I guess. And I have read that people have found success with capping this stuff, but it seems like quite the hassle if you ask me.

I put a heaping teaspoon in a 6 oz. glass of orange juice everyday. It's still awful but you can gulp it down. Look at it this way......you're working your facial muscles with all the contorting you're doing.

how is creatine ethyl ester so much different from regular creatine? And by regular i mean my bottle of Sci Fit Kre-Alkalyn 1500 Creatine, 240 capsules. Is powder really that much better than capsules?

Too acidic. There are fruit juices that are acceptable, but there are also fruit juices that are not. Grape juice is perfectly acceptable and actually recommended, while orange juice is not acceptable and not recommended.
