    Creatine newbie

Alright so here's the deal, Im 16 about 160lbs. Im a musical theater performer and I'm preparing for an upcomming role. Basically I need to get big fast. I've got till the beggining of october. Lately I've been taking protein about 15 minutes after each workout, but I am looking for something more. I bought some creatine pills recently and I am wondering what the best way to take them is(schedule wise). The bottle says three before working out and three after, but I was researching online and discovered all these different techiniques and guidlines. And loading?? I've never even heard of that. Please help me out before I hurt myself lol. I'm a totally noob.

Don't have a schedule for you, but AVOID CREATINE LOADING at this age!

You won't hurt yourself. I take 5g creatine every day, except lifting days I take 5g before AND after I lift... 10g total.

i lift every day im planning on going pro in the IFBB if possible im 14 years old i bench 280 i weigh 160 im 5 foot 8... i just started taking creatine, unless your giong to build ur body like a body builder i wouldnt advise taking it... its like building a house you need a solid foundation under the house, and creatine isnt a soild foundation because if you dont know what your doing it will bloat you and make you increasingly fatter

whey protein and egg whites got rated a sloid 10 on the protein scale i would advise taking one or the other 20 grams of it after you lift.. because your body can only synthesize 20 grams in an hour

20g's of creatine twice a day? isnt that too much? Especially since you're 14.
2000+ situps per day might be overtraining a TAD, possibly.

20g's of creatine twice a day is far too much. That amount of creatine would be classified as loading. Not healthy at your age. Chest three times a week is overtraining. The only guys Ive ever seen that can train chest three times a week are Arnold and Ronnie Coleman. Stick with once a week, and if you feel the need, a shock workout once a month. Your 14 right? I remember training with Eddie Moyzan and he was benching 315lbs for 8 reps. . . . hmmmm.

On my how much can you bench press thread you said...TODAY...that you benched 260-270 ( it's clear with those numbers you don't max, you just guess). Now you are saying you bench 280????? Please bro you are just a little kid, win a State teenage bodybuilding title before you talk about competing in the IFBB...LMFAO.

Dude, stop going around telling people that bullcrap, I dont know why somebody didnt inform you earlier. CREATINE DOES NOT MAKE YOU FAT. At worst, in some people, it increases water retention in fat cells. If you are worried about that, try tri-creatine malate, or CEE, im on CEE right now, 5 or more grams daily.

You should stop talkin and start reading. You aren't getting to the IFBB by lifting twice a day, doing 3 million situps, or thinking you can only eat 20g of protein a day.

Youre full of this arent you? I cant blame you, I can only blame the whirlwind of lies that the supplement world tosses onto you.

Somebody made that up because they wanted to sound smart. Your body will digest as much protein as passes through your gastrointestinal tract, why wouldnt it? Otherwise, if you ate some huge steak, youd just be crapping meat, wouldnt you?

Hey, you should read this, this will give you a great idea of what to do pre/post-workout. http://www.avantlabs.com/main.php?issueID=5&pageID=66 Drew Haynes, you should also read this, bro.

And another note, you ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT take your L-glutamine with any thing other than water. You should wait 1.5 hours after eating something, and 30 mins after you take your glutamine to take anything/eat anything else. Im sorry I lost my temper with you, it wasnt cool.

Ok well bennet if you work chest three times a day i know your bull shitting thats called over training!! if any thing you would not see any gains.. and for only takin creatine if you want a body like a pro body builder is b.s cuz many people take it for sports other than body building.. and if your takin 20 grams you prob wont have any kidneys by the time your 30..
