Green Tea as a source of Anti-oxidants

What do you guys think about green tea as a valuable source of Anti-oxidants?

I keep hearing its pretty much one of the richest sources of anti-oxidants that you can take (even if it doesn't make a bodybuilder look so macho when he's holding a cup).

Surely this makes green tea a suplement that bodybuilders should consider???

Check the brand. Some Green Teas has sugars in them.

There's an interesting study recently about a green tea experiment with mice.

    Here's an excerpt:

Swimming time to exhaustion was elevated in mice fed Green Tea extract. The mice that were fed Green Tea extract had prolonged endurance capacity by 8-24% and the effect was accompanied by a stimulation of lipid metabolisim. It is also noted that the effects were dose dependant.

There are some concerns with the high fluoride content in Green Tea. Depending on how much you drink, might want to look at some sort of iodine supp.
