    zma and Dairy

Why are you not to take ZMA with diary products? This interferes with my protein shake at night. Using milk in the shake helps it digest slower while I sleep, so what would u suggest?

I would take the ZMA first (no time release) , zinc should be picolinate.

wait 30-45 minutes and then take the shake. The Calcium carbonate in milk takes longer to process. This calcium is added after the pasteurization process.

If you are using raw milk, then you don't have to worry since the calcium in raw milk is absorbed very quickly (starting in your mouth).
