    Pro Complex

Yes I was wondering if anyone here has tried the Optimum Nutrition "Pro Complex?" It contains about 55 grms per serving and alot of other good ingredients. If so what flavors are the best?

    Thanks for your help.

Optimum is a quality company that puts out very good protein powders. I have used the chocolate flavor in the past and enjoyed it very much.

I swear by the stuff. I stick to vanilla because the taste mixes well with pretty much anything. I've tried the strawberry and I thought it was too sweet.

Again it looks like I`m the black sheep here!!! lol

I tried the chocolate and didn`t really like the taste, and for whatever reason got a stomach ache pretty much everytime I used it

I changed to ProV60 from Labrada and LOVE it! The taste is the best protien I`ve ever had, it includes casien ( which pro-complex doesn`t ) and a full serving comes in at 60g of protien!!

I think pro-complex probably has more glutamine etc, but as I supplement with these seperately anyway, it doesn`t bother me....the main things for me were, a blend with casien, good taste, rep company.

I tried this stuff for a while 'til they changed sweeteners. The stevia left a bad, bitter after taste.
Promax from SPORTPHARMA is what I have used for quite some time.It has non-denatured whey concentate,ion-exchanged whey isolate, milk protein isolate.I get good results w/ this & it mixes well w/ almost anything.

True...one thing pro complex is missing is casein. This is why it is best used as a post workout protein, or in combo with a protein food. Blends with casein are better to use when you will not be eating again for several hours, and especially before bed.
