    How many grams of creatine do you take?

    How many grams of creatine do you guys/gals take? I've only been taking 5 after working out for the past few months, been thinking to uppin' it to 10.. 5 before working out.. then 5 after.. this a good idea?

    Try it! Thats the only way to find out. Every person responds differently. Personally I just take 5g post-workout and I think excessive doses of creatine (10g and above) are just that, too excessive. But this is debatable. Do what you want, evaluate and go from there.

    PS: Plenty of water!

    I take 5 in the morning when I get up and 5 post-workout.

    I take it about 30 mins before w/ water.

    I take 3 before my workout, 3 after.
