Post Whats the deal with glutamine?

i just bought some IsoFlex Whey protein and the guy at the local nutrtion house(thats the name btw) convinced me into paying the extra 30 for the L-Glutamine in the little container. he told me that most proteins only have glutamic acid, and that getting the glutamine would really help me in getting my workout. he runs a small store, and at first asked me to buy the SEVENTY dollar one... im wondering if he was jsut trying to boost sales, or if there was merit to what he was saying and if glutamine in my shake would REALLY make a diff ? also, he had a picture with him and ronnie coleman and sly stallone, that kinda sold me

Adding glutamine to your shakes is suppose to reduce muscle soreness and rebuild muscle tissue faster. I've never tried it but have considered taking it in the past.

dont add it to your shake unless it's the peptide form. if it isnt, wait 1 and 1/2 hours after eating to take it, and 30 minutes after taking the glutamine to eat anything else
