two quick questions about my creatine usage

    1. the one im taking (phosphagen hp, yes i know u guys didnt recommend but ill change after this bottle if it sucks) has 5.25g of creatine per scoop. at my body weight i only need a little more than 2 during the maintanance phase so my question is, should i only take 1/2 scoop to avoid wasting creatine or what?

    2. im taking a vacation for about 5 days at the end of this month, should i take the creatine down there and continue the maintanance phase. i probly would imagine that theres not a serious gym at the resort so i cant see myself getting full workouts in (if this factors in the decision). if you feel i shouldnt bring it down then do i come back home to the loading or maintanance phase.

sorry for the earfull there. any help is appreciated

My suggestion is to take creatine twice a day (morning and nite) and to take more than the suggested 10mg per day amount. As cheap as creatine is, why mess with 1/2 a scoop? I take 30mg of creatine on WO days and 20mg on non-WO days. Extra 10 mg is in my post-WO shake. I have read a few studies that concluded a lot of people do not see measurable results on 10mg per day. However, results were seen when increased up to 120mg per day. Am I suggesting 120mg per day? No. I am suggesting you increase your daily intake, and you may find your body responds better to the increased doseage.

Bottom line is that I do not feel you will see any differene between 10.5mg and 10.0 mg (or what ever a 1/2 a scoop gives you.)
If you always have a great day, you will always have a great life.

Mono is overated IMHO. Try v12 turbo. its the only thing i ever had great gains with. Also, taking more than what you need is just psssing money and creatine donw the toilet. Take whats recommended on the bottle. 5 grams is fine.

I take 3g before workout, 3g after. Try that or a variation of it; it works well for me.

I would say when on vacation you keep up your maintenance dose. Also....be careful about overdosing. Creatine in large amounts can cause dehydration and resultant painful cramping.

hmmmmnever heard that one before. I heard that it makes you hold water.

I believe the reason why it makes you cramp is becuase you arent assimilating enough water.
