    Sesathin dosing/half-life

m, youI have a question regarding what dosing I should use for sesathin, as I was told that sesamin has a short half life, less than 6 hours. If this is true, should I use half doses, throughout the day, then a standard full 1.25 mls at my pre-bed meal, as opposed to the the 3 1.25 ml?

And, I thought the bottle would be much bigger... Its a little teeny turd!!! ROFL

    Half-life, with Sesathin?

It's sesamin, the extract of Sesame Oil.
Anyway, I take 7 cc per day at 2.5 cc per dose before 3 of my 5 meals, usually the heavier ones.

    Anyone else

I know what is in Sesathin, I am just asking, how long is its half-life in the body, i.e, how long does it cause the changes in gene expression, etc?

I know what a half-life is, and what it means. Anyway, It stays active in the bloodstream for about 3 hours at a dose.

    But it doesn't exactly have a 'half-life' so-to-speak, like PH's do.

So, would that warrant splitting the 3 daily doses into 6 daily doses, to prolong the time that it is in your system?

Nah, I don't think it would.

I really just take it with my heaviest meals, usually 1-4, because I reduce my carbs later in the day. If I have a cheat day or meal, I ingest 2 mega-doses of 7 cc's 2X Per day.

Anyway you wanna go about it, but I think you are making it too much work. Just take it with what you consider to be your heaviest meals. Thats all. Good Luck!

From my standpoint, I would MUCH prefer to sell caps instead of a liquid. You have no clue how many customer service related issues we've had to deal with due to leaky bottle tops on the sesamin liquid. Most don't appreciate how much a true softgel cost to manufacture. That is why there are so few true softgel products. Having this product in a cap saves us a lot of customer service issues and makes the customer happier.

If you don't see added value in being able to transport a softgel vs having to drag around a bottle a liquid, sorry.

Oh, trust me, I see the added value, I actually was thinking about it last night. Because, I could actually possibly be expelled from my school for having the sesathin, because of the oral syringe you have to dose it with. And, I suppose, if you think about it, they are the same price (sesathin vs. primaforce/scivation sesamin softgels), considering the process and expense that it takes to softgel it, like you said, thats a darn good deal! and you dont run the risk of losing any of the precious liquid... Mmmm... Sesamin make Eric happeh...
