I agree. I don't think there is anything wrong with the fat content either.

Well, I dunno, it depends on how your diet is set up. Its tough to say much of anything is cut and dry. All Im saying is, it dont fit in my diet, maybe as the basis of a pre-bed shake/meal, but, like I said, you just have to fit it into your macros. Like I said, that 17 grams of fat doesnt fit much anywhere into my diet, aside from before bed, where it would be put to best use, (again, just for me) in delaying the gastric emptying.

What are the fat sources? If they are good then I am wrong, I'll admit that.

The bulk of saturated fat in Muscle Milk is MCT's (Medium Chain Triglycerides). This type of fat is not as likely to be stored or lead to clogged areteries which you'd usually expect with saturated fat. I've cut lots of BF while drinking Muscle Milk with proper calorie restriction and nutrient timing.

Hey P! How've you been? I've been away for a while (just moved to Arizona) but I'm hoping to finally spend some time on here like I used to.

Hey Iain! AZ is hot...very hot! I'm in downtown Phoenix. I already miss New England and am getting sick of this city. I love the west...just kinda sick of this part of it. Hoping to talk the girlfriend into taking some trips to Colorado, Calif, and Utah so we can get a break from the desert.

I hear ya. I'm sure I'll love it here once things cool off a bit. Hows the weather up there now? Gets pretty hot, doesnt it?

I'm working (very little) at a private studio in town here. Trying to build my client base but its slow going.

Muscle Milk contains casein proteins which slow digestion so it is better to use at bedtime than whey protein.

Well... I think this would be a pretty good product to use during the day, because of the MCT's.

cottage cheese is also a casein protein. I could mix the two and still have a cheaper protein, along with throwing in my own MCTs.
