Taking Muscle Milk at the end of the night?

Right now I generally take whey protein with milk (to slow the digestion as opposed to using water) before I go to bed. I'm thinking about switching to Muscle Milk right before I head to bed.

I'm looking to gain weight; I don't want to lose weight. Would Muscle Milk mixed in with milk (not water) be better than whey protein + milk at bedtime?

Muscle Milk has more calories and the more calories I can get, the better.

I drink muscle milk as a before bed snack...and I'm trying to lose fat while gaining muscle.

I think your total daily calories are what will ultimately decide if you gain mass or drop weight.

have u tried adding 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter? adds nearly 200 calories, its a good fat and also slows down digestion further.

Muscle milk would be a very good bet, but... I prefer to make a shake of like,

3/4 cup milk (whatever % you want)
    handful of ice cubes
    1 scoop whey
    1/2 scoop casein
    1/2 cup cottage cheese
    2tbsp natty pb

And if you really want to, toss in some berries or other fruit. No citrus.

So good, itll make you slap your momma.

All my attempts at making shakes have resulted in a thick milkshake like substance that I cannot chug. And I've been adding plenty of water.

Well, my recipe is supposed to be a thick, enjoyable milkshake, you didnt specify! Add less ice cubes.
