Getting back in shape

I used to work out in college but I stopped and wanted to start back up again. I'm not trying to get huge build but I want to gain some mass and keep it that way. So far I was thinking of getting these supplements.

weight gainer - allthe whey super mass 600
protien - optimum nutrition 100% whey
multivitiman - any

I was also thing about getting creatine but i'm not sure. It used to be pretty popular back in the day, but i havent been keeping up with the news. I was also thinking about anabolic matrix rx, but again i'm not too sure. What do you guys suggest? Also, where do you guys get your products? GNC seems really expensive. Thanks in advance

Without knowing much about you. The Protein powder and Multi are a good start for supps. I would leave at that for now. The Weight Gainer is probably a waste for you. I would suggest working on your diet, as that is the key to any gains or losses, that you are looking for

Watch out for shipping costs, some sites charge WAY to much.
If you want to get more calories from shakes, make your own.
Something like this,
1/2 c Oats
1 c Milk
2 tbps Natuarl Peanut Butter
1 c Ice
2 scoops ON Whey
and I throw in a couple of strawberries for taste
aprox. 825 calories
70g protein
Much cheaper than buying a tub of weight gain and without all the sugar!

I think it is the general concensus that 70g of protein at once is a waste, as your body can only utilize 40-50g of it. A shake I use is:

1/2 - 1 cup oats
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup milk
<1/2 scoop ON whey protein

comes out to a little shy of 50g protein

Awesome idea! Cottage cheese in the shake! This changes everything for me!

I am the same way, however, to me it doesn't taste at all like cottage cheese when I blend it. In fact, if you make the shake I listed above, it tastes like strawberry smoothie heaven. Just make sure you blend it for long enough so it is nice and smooth.

Also, I should note the smoothie I listed is shy of 50g of protein if you use a little less than 1 cup of cottage cheese (~200g is about right). Makes about 3 glasses the way I have listed, however, you can change up how much of each ingredient you use. I have done it so I use more whey but less of everything else (including less milk, at only 3/4 cup as opposed to 1 whole cup) so that it is somewhat more chocolatey (but hardly noticable), but still barely shy of 50g of protein.
