Do you want the powder or liquid?

I know CNW has glycerol mono stearate and they're back up now.
Also, I think BN carries the NOW brand of vegetable glycerine.

Really? Sure that's not just dextrose or somethin? I use dextrose, but I thought that glycerol had uses as a super-hydrator to hydrate your body beyond natural levels before intense aerobic activity. I know of bikers that do it. Does it also spike insulin? I hadn't heard that.

No, thats right. Glycerol is a liquid alcohol most commonly found in the diet as a component of fat or triglycerides. The glycerol serves as the backbone onto which fatty acid molecules are attached. When sold commercially, they remove the fatty acid molecules by hydrolysis(sp?). Its supposed to help "hyperhydrate" the body by increasing blood volume levels and helping to delay dehydration.

I guess I should have been a bit more specific in my previous post, but I used it to help creatine uptake.

That's a good point. My bad... my first thought was that creatine uptake would be most likely increased by some sort of insulin spiking with high GI sugars. I wasn't thinking about glycerol maybe helping due to the extra hydration.

Damn, CNW doesn't sell it anymore. I want to use it when I take DNP for the hydration. People report feeling much better while using glycerol on DNP. I might just go for the liquid from BN if I can't find the powder.

Hey Pirate, Matt said he was getting the powder back in stock Friday. So if you haven't found it somewhere else, you should be able to get it at CNW tomorrow then.
