    Suggest : Protein bars

Can you guys and gals suggest some good protein bars. I looked @ ON and a few other brand protien bars. They all got a whole lotta sugars in em. Are there any protein bars with protein content in the 20-30gm range with as little sugars as possible...like in the 5-10gm range?

Pretty much all protein bars are either filled with sugar or sugar alcohols. You're better off just making your own really.

the met-rx big 100's ARE very good, but, they are mostly sugar and maltodextrin, which isnt cool. The trioplex bars are a little better for ya, IMO. I just use half a scoop of Whey Isolate with them (the trioplexes only have 30g of protein), and you're good to go!

the pro-complex bars are good, hardly any sugar in them! same with EAS carbsense and CNP pro-flapjaks, be warned though, some of these bars are just loaded with sat. fats and sugars, always best to check out the labels first

I like Tri-O-Plex too, specially the cookie dough, and the cinnamon raisin, but in general I think protein bars should be used in an emergency only. For example if one day(like in my own case) you have classes from 8am to 4:25pm with just 3 breaks of 15 min each, you can drink a bottle of water and protein bar until you get a chance to eat a real meal, but don't eat protein bars all the time.
