    Biotest Supps

I recently purchased a large amount of Biotest Supps to see if they live up to the hype. I bought 2 jugs of Regular Grow!, and 1 jug of Low-Carb GROW! with micellar casien. I also bought some power drive, surge, and ZMA. Has anyone tried any of these supps before? Supposedly they are "superior" to other brands.

Power Drive contains some precursors to neuro transmitters and is a Pre-Workout stimulant.

Surge is a Post workout supp with BCAA's, hydrostate whey, maltodextrin, etc, that i might add is expensive as hell. For 21 bucks, you get 10 servings. And for someone that weighs over 225 LB's, the serving size is 3 servings. Thats 21 dollars for three post workout drinks.

ZMA contains vitimin b-6, zinc and magnesium, which is supposed to boost test, and aids in deep sleep.

If no one has tried any of these, I will post my little review of them.

Can't say I have tried those, but I also recently purchased some of Biotest's T2 Pro. Seeing as I have no thyroid to produce hormone and rely on synthetic T4, it will be interesting to see if the Biotest T2 actually works.

BIOTEST makes decent supps but are way over-priced. You can find similar products that work just as good if not better. Just browse www.bulknutrition.com, www.nutraplanet.com or www.dpsnutrition.com.

You'll find comparable products much cheaper.

Ok, and for my review so far...

    Power Drive:

I mixed a scoop of Power Drive with 6 ounces of water. Then hit the gym 45 minutes later. I got the on treadmill and began to warm up, and that is when i started to feel it. Basically your clear headed as fuck. Literally your focused as hell. When I did chest today, I added a rep here and a rep there to what I got last week.

    ZMA:

I have been taking this for the last 3 nights. The stuff does not make you sleepy like a sleep aid, it just makes you sleep deeper. I can atest to this, however, it does eventually make you sleepy if you take it 2-3 hours before bed. But its not an intense feeling, its a really gentle feeling, as opposed to melatonin which did some crazy shit.

    Surge:

What would be comparable to Surge that I could buy from DPS, etc?

Well, Surge is really nothing but a post-workout shake. Simply get your favorite protein pwdr, add some dextrose/maltodextrin and some BCAA's and you just made your Surge and a lot cheaper.
I would suggest doubling the carbs to protein, so if you add 30g of protein into the shake then add 30g of Dextrose and 30g of Maltodextrin. About 5g of BCAA's will do.
