Which protein shake do you guys take?

I'm currently taking Isopure. Its not bad since its zero carb, but recently I decided I want to bulk up so I'm thinking of switching to something different. Just wondering which brand of protein shake you guys use? and which is good for bulking?

when i have to buy one at the gym i usually get the pure pro 50 gram cans. i used to always get abb's mass recovery but those always mess with my digestion. but i prefer to mix my own at home so i can put fruits and good stuff like that in it.

for gaining weight, you need more calories

this comes in the form of carbs and fat, which packs on weight

i used to use isopure, as i wanted to have the best protein i could find for my post workout shake. but i used the isopure with 25 carbs in it.

currently i am also trying to gain weight, and i make my own weight gainers

this consists of Optimum 100 whey protein gold standard, which is fairly inexspensive
then thanks to this site, i now add oats which i buy from a supermarket, along with some natural peanut butter

and by the way it tastes AWESOME! its a lot more filling of course with a good amount of carbs and fat in it but it really tastes awesome

shakes aren't 'good' for bulking per se. more food is good for bulking.

but to answer your question, i like PVL.

    Thumbs up Muscletech

I am currently using Nitro-Tech. I wouldnt suggest protein shakes for bulking. I am going to switch to Isopure though. Better taste. When I want to pack on weight I drink ensure in the morning, lunch and right before I go to bed. Ensure has a HIGH PROTEIN drink and has 350 calories per drink. Loaded with vitamins and minerals. The taste is great also.

ISS Research whey matrix. Tastes good, $25-$30 per 5lb so not too spendy. Get it at golds. My favorite is champion nutrion strawberry mrp's but they are a rip off.

Muscle milk tastes the best but you can't take more than one of those a day unless you are really on a big juice cylcle because too many calories (don't worry about the fat in muscle milk as some people do - you need it to build muscle)

Since I usually do 2 protein shakes a day one before working out and one after, I use designer whey (tastes awesome) or Labrada for the second.
