    Creatine

I'm trying the Effervescent Creatine. The stuff taste awful sort of
like in my case strawberry flavored alker selzer. Can this be mixed with anything other than water?

I'd suggest you give it to someone you don't like, Effervescent Creatine is total crap, stick with a regular brand name creatine.

Effervescent creatine is good stuff, but it is outdated now with the new titrated creatine on the market.

Don't bother with the (expensive) fad stuff. Just get some monohydrate powder and grape juice, and you'll be doing fine.

Try mixing your creatine (whatever kind it may be) in a warm liquid in stead of cold and it will desolve better. This will give you a better chance at not getting a upset stomach if you have that problem, plus it will be absorbed better.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I have been taking creatine since 1993...I have tried every form ever made, in every liquid at all temps. The new titrated creatine is truly superior.

    Gopro,

I haven't seen titrated Creatine. What brand do you take, and how much do you spend.

    Thanks

2 companies make it...IDS and Muscle Link...online it is about $ 17-22 for around 40-44 servings.

hey gopro - is there less likely to be an issue with bloating when you use the titrated form?

    thanks!

No, it does not cause any bloating. It was formulated specifically so that not so much water would be pulled into the gut causing digestive stress. I have had zero problems with the titrated form.

Although I do not generally recommend creatine to teenagers, there is no reason it should hurt you in any way if taken responsibly.

Sure, it is a low sugar creatine delivery system that also contains ribose and glutamine. I had good results with a similar product put out by Cytodyne. Met RX is a great company so their products can be trusted, however, I am not sure your results with this product would be much better than straight creatine.
