    Supplements Under Fire!

Check this website. Long but interesting! What do you guys think?
IMO, supplements help. Not every supplement works and what works for somebody may not work for me, but this guy... He's saying that all the supplements are crap and he focuses on prisoners. Read what you can, just like me, unitl you get tired, bored, sleepy...

he names a lot of stuff that "didn't work for him" which may be true, but if he was trying to gain weight why did he use so many themogenics and weight loss supplements...

supplements, are, simply put, SUPPLEMENTS. They supplement what you do with your nutrition.... if used correctly, they help, but if usd on nothing, what can it supplement

I've seen some very muscular prisoners who pretty much live off refined carbs and a little pork. Genetics...
Before you begin to doubt the sentence you just read, take a good look at PRISONERS:

Prisoners only eat 3 or 4 times a day.

Prisoners have no choice as to what types of food they eat.

Their meals are not very nutritious according to "popular" standards.

Their meals are high in carbohydrates, and are low in protein.

The little protein they eat is not the "ion-exchange" high-priced whey, it is mainly eggs, milk, and some beef and chicken here and there.

Prisoners don't use any kind of supplements whatsoever.

However, prisoners are some of the most muscular, most massive, most well-defined, most powerful individuals!!! No doubt about it!!!!

I was going to say, I'm fairly sure studies have been done before confirming that inmates tend to have higher-than-average testosterone levels naturally, hence their increased aggression and... unruly behavior.

I don't know where this guy got his info from. I didn't see any sources, so that one point less to his credibility.
I agree with Hlanderr, if he was trying to gain weight, why so many thermogenics? Don't tell me he's the dumbest person in the world! The one who walks in his local GNC and buys whatever supplement they offer him! Please! Also, he says that you don't have to eat as much as a weightlifter is supposed to.
