I got a Great Protein Deal

... just thought I would share... I wish I could offer it to all of you guys/gals, but it was a one time thing. I walked into the Vitamin World in center city philly today on lunch break. Went up to the counter and bought 2 5lb ON Dbl Rich Choco protein tubs. The guy didnt have any big bags to carry the tubs so he had to give me 2 trash bags to carry it. I was like, yeah no big deal. The guy goes, for your patience and understanding Im gonna give you $10 off your purchase today. I was like

They had already been on sale for $26.99 each... so i got the two of 'em for $43.95... BEAUTIFUL!!!

We usually pay more for whey protein here - it retails in the shops for about £20 ($35) for a 2lb tub. I've found a supplier doing it for £14 per 5lbs.

I went in the Vitamin Shoppe and they had these boxes of VPX's Micellean 50% off because they expire on August. I got two, each one for $22.49! IMO that's a good deal

OK - I'm not familiar with all your brands.

The stuff I buy is a whey concentrate - 80% protein. At £14 per 5lb tub, that works out around 0.8p (1.3c) per gram, which is cheaper even than skim milk powder.

Still can't believe the price we pay for whey protein in the shops over here.
