I'm not sure about the quality of that creatine, but don't think that because is cheap is bad. Creatine monohydrate is pretty cheap. That product that you mentioned, it's similar to Cell-Tech, just cheaper. It has dextrose, which is a fast absorbing carbohydrate, taurine which is an amino acid that will give you energy (that's what I remember from the top of my head right now) and some minerals. Try it, I'm sure if you take ONE scoop pre w/o you will be fine. People recommend the loading phase, since you never used creatine, you have to take up to 4 scoops for the first 4-5 days, but I'm not an expert with the loading phase thing.

and yes, there are plenty of name brands for creatine mono in capsules.
There you have a link for a product for a great company:

That you have to take creatine with whey, that's BS, you can get enough protein from your meals, the thing is that whey protein is really cheap and convenient. You can take creatine with whey protein after your work out session, to prevent catabolism (breakdown of muscular tissue) and to replenish the creatine in you body (after you workout you use the creatine in that you body produces).

If any info is wrong, guys, feel free to correct me.

Hope this info helps you and good luck bro
