    Creatine/Glutamine and heat?

I carry a jug of Creatine and another jug of Glutamine in my gym bag when I go in the morning. My bag then stays in my car all day while I'm at work and gets pretty hot in the desert sun. Has anybody heard of any negative effects heat has on either of these two supps?

Yeah, that's why I carry the jug, so I can mix it as soon as I'm finished with my workout. But what I'm looking for is if HEAT has and negative effects on it.

I'm getting ready to go teach a Spinning class so you'll have to settle for the Reader's Digest answer. I'm a lazy SOB! If I don't HAVE to carry it in I don't want to. (Damn I hate being honest.) Seriously, I have to lug about a ton and a half of crap to and from my car every day so if I can trim off a pound or two it would be great.

ALBOB, I remember reading ( I think it was from TG ) that heat can affect creatine negatively....so can humidity.

I just take out my 5g and put it in a tiny little tupperware container and put it in my bag.

No, I carry a jug of the dry powder for the exact reason you mentioned. I don't mix it until the instant I need it.

OK, only because I'm feeling VERY generous am I gonna say this; Kuso, you're a genius. Why carry the whole jug if I'm only gonna use 5 grams? Good thing it's Wednesday. I'll have time to recover from feeling like an idiot before the weekend.

Have not heard of heat degrading the quality of either. However you might put some in smaller containers. I've used old 35mm film cases.

I am pretty sure that the heat is NOT good for it. Like Kuso, I have a couple of drink shakers and make mine every morning.
