Questions about water and shakes: nauseas and dangers.

I think that the supplements that i take before workout sometimes are not good because will cause me nausea (my stomach is filled).

1 h before the workout i take a shake of whey protein (water + powder) and another shake of creatine (more water and powder). Then i will drink just a little bit more of water, since its not good to have all that creatine on body without water.

Then, during workout, i will get some nauseas, specially if i do legs, because of my stomach (its not empty, but with lots of water). Its like when you eat then you try to do sports...thats not good.

The feeling is the same. What do you do?

I think that trying to drink the shakes 1h and half (or more) before the training is not good because probably thats too much time for the powders (protein and creatine) get effect. 1,5 hours before probably the creatine will loose his effect and th eprotein my go "out".

What would you advise?

Another question: a friend of mine says that drinking water during exercises (or imediatly before) is a bad thing because that will raise (or lower...dont remember) the levels of iodine (and according to my friend thats dangerous). Is that true? Never heard about that!

So nausea is normal? ok. Do you know any small trick, any tip that helps you to deal with that?

with my shake i will get 5gr of creatine. With my whey shake i will get about 20-25 gr of protein. I eat a lot 3 to 3-40 hours before training. Like, chicken with rice and a nice soup in the end and thena piece of fruit (banana).

Now that i look better, maybe i should eat more carbo hydrates 1h before the work out. Maybe some kind of energetic bar. Yes, your advise on eating banana, and milk, with my shake, is a good one. I will try that.
