Your Opinions of Joint Supps In General?

Garbage? I tend to think so. The exception may be EFAs, which may have a marginal impact on joint health. But there's no solid data on the effects of glucosamine, chondroitin, and other similar "joint supps."

Anyone honestly feel they've benefited from joint supps?

personally, not really. but I think my joint problems are different than arthritic joint problems and you have to use that shit for months i think.

honestly glucosamine worked great for my dog. when my dog was getting older he started getting some arthritis and would get up very slowly. then every day i gave him glucosamine and chondroitin, he was back to normal rather quickly.

I always had great results with glucosamine.

I have had great results with a combination of glucosamine + chondrotin + MSM. It is true you need to take it for about 2 weeks before you notice any results, but I truely believe it helps.

I agree with Doctor X, I have seen the same positive results not only in dogs, but also in horses.
