Antioxidants. How much is too much?

    Is this overkill?

    NAC 500mg 2x perday
    VitC 1000mg 2x perday
Green tea cap (1 cap = ~6-8 cups green tea) 1x perday
This Multivitamin only 1x perday (not 2 as suggested on the label)

NAC + VitC taken together with water only. Green Tea cap+multi taken together with food.

One thing to remember is that antioxidants, in excess, can actually become what they try to rid the body of....free radicals

As far as your numbers go, the only UL I know of, of the ones you listed is Vit C and it looks like you are OK with it....but keep in mind, if that 2000mg of Vit C you are taking is strictly from a pill, than you might want to cut it back, cause I'm sure your already getting plenty from your diet.

Yea, that was exactly my concern. I dont want to develop fatigue..etc from excess of them.

VitC is a water soluble and toxicity is rare. But you are right. I do get plenty of vits from diet and hence take only 1 instead of 2 mulits recommended. I dont want to go into hypervitaminosis.

Definetly not, too much might be triple that amount every day.
NAC is actually commonly taken at much higher doses. I have used AX Perfect Cycle, which is basically an on-cycle liver/free radical product. It was recommended to take it 2-3 times a day, and each contained 1000mg of NAC (I took in 3000mg every day). So you should be safe at that dose, even if used for a long time.
Vitamin C is exactly the way you put it. Water soluable, and you are still fine at that dose x10...
Multivitamin could go twice a day, unless you don't really like taking it. You have some bases covered with the Vitamin C which is a great addition in this stack, but it wouldn't hurt to get those extra vitamins in. I don't see any fat soluable vitamins in the ones you listed, so you should be in good shape

3000mg NAC!! Max doseage is 2100mg/day unless you are like 250+lbs.

I analysed my diet thru nutritiondata and seems i am gettimg most vits/mins thru diet. Which is why i decided to only do low dose (1cap) multi instead of the 2 caps recommended. Too much of those fat soluble vits can spell trouble
