    Creatine

What exactly does creatine do for you in the long run? I've read in a couple places that all it does is help you retain water weight, so you look bigger?...

I've been told it aids in muscle recovery. How it does that? I couldn't tell you, but I have heard it works best post workout for great recovery. Hopefully when I cycle off my creatine and other supps I won't lose alot of size.

Yea, I don't want to buy creatine if it doesn't have lasting effects. If you are bigger while you are taking it, great, but what about when you stop?
