New to the weight lifting scene, need help with creatine!!

Ok.

So i heard about creatine and went to GNC to buy some. Guy there recommended AdEnergy Stack once a day before work outs and a protein drink after workouts. Here's what im doing, I'm taking AdEnergy Stack prior to working out and eating a high protein meal after workouts.

I'm about 5'11 225lbs. and NOT lean... as a matter of fact i need to lose quite a few lbs. My normal workout consists of something like this: 20min of cardio, then 30min of weights (machine weights for now; i have a dislocated left shoulder so I don't want to rush into free weights quite yet).

The question is this, is AdEnergy Stack what I'm looking for as a supplement? Or is there a better creatine product out there that I can use in place of it? And if there is, how much of this stuff should I be taking? I hear a lot of people talking about "loading up" with the stuff for the first cpl of weeks, but how much is too much and how little is too little?

I'm avoiding protein drinks in all because I don't want to gain more mass and I'd rather eat than drink a shake. So sticking with the high protein meals. (Egg whites, tuna, etc).

Thanks for the help,

IMO, don't use creatine until you are advanced into your training to a point where you have a very good knowledge of how your body works.

What are your stats? Age, weights height, etc.. Also protein shakes are very healthy for you and they are good for lean body mass. It would be perfect for you to start with.

I found that the more muscle mass I have the better I can control my mid section/fat. I'm kind of new to lifting also and found that I had better results when I started with lite reps and good form. Also protein will help burn fat. I would do away with the creatine for now and get some protein and use it as a meal replacement and post workout to keep the muscle you do have.

At 27 creatine isn't bad to try at all. You can use it if you want, I woule IMO. See if you can take back the adenergy stack because it is really useless and try http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1618. Its cee, in 500grams. They also have it in 100 and 1000grams. Its really up to you.

Now that I read this post. I'm wondering how good is creatine for someone who's trying to lose weight?
I think that if you trying to decrease bodyfat and want to increase your pre w.o energy maybe you could try some caffeine.
Just my two cents...

thanks i'll check that out. not sure if i can return the adenergy, but i'll look into it. As for Flakko's post, is it not a good idea to use creatine if honestly all I'm trying to do is tone up and lose fat?

thanks

GNC takes their products back within 30 days after purchase. Creatine ethyl ester IMO would not be a bad choice because of no water bloat. Alot of people hear creatine and already assume that your going to bloat up. As far as losing fat, it will be fine to take along with your protein. Losing fat has alot to do with your diet. Get your diet straight and you should be fine.

Use NO Xplode for Pre-Workout dude. He probably tried to sell you Cell Mass for post work out. At your weight (not implying anything) I would use 3 scoops pre-workout 30 minutes prior. Also if you have a low tolerance for stimulants, expect to shit alot from that stuff.
