    Am I wasting my time???

I 've been taking Hydroxycut for about 2 mths....not the recommended doseage... but Im now following it more closely...and yes there have been some changes from pre- Hydro!!!!

Now heres my worry......I work at the International Airport.... Whilst clearing food stuffs from a passengers baggage...I noticed they had a couple of bottles of Hydroxycut....the Customs Officer was writing up a seizure notice for them!!!!! When the now very pissed off passenger left...I enquired why he wasnt allowed them, due to the fact that I use them!!!! The line was...they were from the USA....and had a plant extract in them that was prohibited!!!! The Australian allowed form didnt have it in..... so, what is this extract.....and what does it do????? They couldnt tell me....so if anyone out there knows can you pass it on to me??? I mean if Im not really getting a decent run with the Aussie version I may as well save my money and try something else!!!!

    The Aussie bottle reads....Contents:

Garcinia cambogia, Guarana extract, Citrus aurantium, Willow Bark, L-carnitine, gelling agent, bulking agent, anti caking agents, and chromium picolinate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Any help would be great!!!!

I believe the substance not allowed would be Ephedrine... stateside it is allowed and we use it for our ECA stacks.

I was thinking that the Guarana extract was the herbal form but it has to be the MaHuang since that is not listed on your label.

I do a home brewed formula, but I dont think that Ephedrine free thermo's are a complete waste.

I'm not to sure whether all Thermos have the Ephedrine but when I looked at the Xenadrine and Xenalean, I couldn't see anything in regards to the above ingrediant(sp?). So is it just a stateside thing.....And 30-40 pounds seems a lot for pills

Its the ephedrine=MaHuang(herbal version of it) that is illegal.
I used to live in Sweden and it is illegal over there unless it is for asthma and under prescription. Usually you see stuff about athletes loosing their medals etc for using "asthma" medicine, thats what they are using to for extra performance, ephedrine.
Guarana is legal, it is stuff commonly used in like "power drinks" like Red Bull etc. Since ephedrine is legal here in the USA, I highly recommend it for when you are exercising(unless you have a heart problem). I really works wonders with your muscle endurance and gives you more "power" to lift heavy and makes you able to do that extra last set that you might have problems with. Yes I know that it is mostly used for weightloss but it does have effects on exercise as well.
