    Is there a difference?

    some simple questions...
Is there going to be a big difference in your muslce growth or strength if you do or don't take any suppliments and just lift. Will suppliments strengthen your muscles more? Will suppliments increase the muscle you gain?

    Thanks

Depends on what your goals are. If you eat right and enough, you may not need supps. Post your diet, and your training schedule and you'll get the feedback your looking for.

It would be difficult to get enough protein, creatine and glutamine from food alone, so as far as those three supplements I believe they will improve muscle gain.

you can get by w/o protein supps, but it'll be impossible to get the same ammounts of creatine through food. When I was doin' 400g Protein/day, I'd do it through real food. but even if that was all red meat, I'd need 3x that much meat to get the creatine.

Supps can help, but they aren't a necessity for life. They just increase potential growth like fertilizer adds potential to plant growth beyond that which is found in the soil. (ahhh...my farming roots )

I would put proper nutrition above proper training.

Hope I don't have to give the guy I quoted royalties LOL

Seriously, my fall is in the sleep/recoup dept.
It may be dependant on the person to a degree as far as metabolism goes in reference to how clean the diet is, but you can't grow w/o it.

For me, diet is/has to be 1st priority

I'd put training above nutrition. I have seen plenty of guys with horrible diets grow, stay lean etc.... I have never seen someone get huge on proper nutrition alone....

Yes, I have no problem staying lean, when I'm on my weightgainer suppliment, I haven't gained anything, I've actually lost 2-3 lbs after eating more and taking the drink.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!! I don't care how well you eat...if you do not train, you ain't gonna be big! And like you said, on the other side, I know many guys that train their asses off and eat like shiat, but still have bodybuilder physiques.

Training is # 1 for sure, but, yes, to get the most out of it, you need to eat right.

Eating properly is more important than simply eating less. You must also eat according to your goals. Are you bulking or cutting.

Exercising more can be harmful as well, as overtraining is possible.

Can't argue with the sleeping. Sleep is good!

Good luck in getting your license!

As for supps...start with a good protein powder to take with or between meals...then you can go with a good creatine supplement...next, a good glutamine supplement...

...but just remember, your best gains will come through a proper lifting program, a proper diet, and lots of rest...supplements will only "ice the cake."
