I don't think having any protein shake as a "meal" is a good idea. I have a real meal less than an hour after my PWO shake. The only time I take a shake on it's own is my pre-workout scoop of whey in water.

It's good if you can't get areal meal in. I have one every morning when I first wake up. Then later in the morning I will eat a regular meal. I have a very busy schedule day in day out, so I don't always get to eat those regular meals. Don't worry about having it directly after your workout. You should consume something that will be adsorbed rather quickley into your system, since that's what your body is looking for. Good luck and please reply if you have any further questions. John
what if i CAN get a real meal in, but its not so clean?? ITs not junk but just not your top 3 healthy choice means u kno??? should i just eat the food or get the MM?
the food = sandwich with regular baggette and chicken + cheese + etc. The big thing is the bread, i mean i know bread in general isnt that good...
