    Hi gmenfan40

Since u are 16 I would learn to know your body and training and then when u reach an age where u know your body and training then contemplate using supplements that would increase strength by a large amount even altho u have been weight training since the age of 10 your body is constantly changing when u are a teenager so as your body changes you get to know your body better.

What I can suggest is if u cannot obtain enough protein from whole foods within a normal day to use protein shakes altho protein shakes are good whole foods are 3 times better and your body utilises the full potential better than any protein shake.

U probably wont listen to me because it sounds to simple and u will feel u know better but ask any knowledgable strength athlete and theyll tell u the exact same.

Concentrate on getting bodybuilding meals in every 2-3 hours. Make sure all of these meals have a sufficent amount of protein, carbohydrates, and even fat. If you're wanting to bulk, don't neglect getting an excess amount of calories from food sources other than protein (shy away from the junk and foods high in sodium if possible though). I am sure you already know to get 1.5-2 times your bodyweight in grams of protein a day.

Remember, just as you can't jump on the bench press and suddenly throw up 405, you also can't just start consuming 5000 calories a day. It's a gradual process and needs to be taken one day at a time. Time is on your side, so take it slow.

As far as supplements, there aren't really a need for these at your age. If anything a nice protein powder to supplement your animal protein intake to make sure you're meeting your required intake daily is acceptable. A multi vitamin is also okay. I reccommend Animal Pak.

Why do you always leave for like 6 months, then suddenly show up again?
