    Starting Supplements

Hi, I've been working out for the past three years and was thinking about trying some supplements, up until now I've only tried protein shakes. I was interested in creatine and natural testosterone boosters, but I'm really not sure which brands to try or which type of creatine to take (monohydrate or CEE, pills or powder...). Also I was wondering if the natural testosterone boosters are safe.

The last time I went to GNC I saw a few "mass gainer stacks" by Muscle Tech, NX Care, and a few others. They seem to make pretty bold claims, so if anyone's tried them let me know.

    Thanks.

yes, you are correct, they are outrageous claims and imo mt provides marginal results at exorbinant prices.

i would suggest starting with teh basics, whey+multi vitamin+creatine+fish oil. as for creatine, mono is safe, cheap and well tested, so give it a shot. nothing to loose really. if you dont like the results, then try cee or some other derivation. you really dont need a test booster at 18, though.

if you are looking for a creatine-plus product, some of my favs are MAN Clout, Dymatize Xpand and Met-RX Amped. They ach provide different unique benefits (cell volumizing, recovery, etc.) but in the end, there are a lot of creatine supps out there. I would say read some reviews and then pick one, but mind the fact that more expensive does not equal better

Just a little reminder, the prices at GNC are very high. They can be bought for almost half the price on the net. www.1fast400.com is a good reliable site.

Thanks for all the advice, I think I'm definately going to give creatine a shot. Just a few more dumb questions, do you have to cycle creatine or can you take it regularly? From what I've read the answer is uclear. Also, does creatine help with recovery time? Finally, I've heard of people becoming bloated on creatine, if this is true is there a way to avoid it? Thanks again.

For the record. Outside of a multi-vit/min.. protein and an appropriate diet - I think anything else is a waste of money and is probably pissed out (if not "toxic" in the long run). Only "juicing" is clearly effective for rapid muscle gains and destruction of your organs and metabolic processes in the "short term".

I just purchased 3 bottles of Anabolic Matrix RX from this site... for the "placebo effect", in my estimation. I need to expend more energy on basics, rather than hedges.

Creatine monohydrate may bloat you, but there are other options. CEE products, like DS XCEED, shouldn't.
