    What to buy?

    I have never tried any supplements before apart from multi-vitamins and protein shakes and i wondered what were the most important and essential supplements when getting started?

    Look on the Sticky at the top that says Most important/effective supplement. That should give you a good idea. You should at least get some good creatine.

    there are certain supps that one should take while bulking and others while cutting...but 2 supps that should be in any serious weight trainers arsenal all the time is creatine and glutamine.
    I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

    Protein is the no.1 supplement you shouldnt go without ! Then i would say Glutamine and Creatine !!

    Boron!! The russians use it and it packs on mass like crazy. hahah

    Ok now the truth the top three supplements that help us in our bodybuilding efforts:

    1) Multi-Vitamin Minerals
    2) Protein Powder
    3) L-Glutamine (some would say creatine, but for long term growth I would say L-Glutamine fits my plan)

    When is the best time to have Creatine? With what (grape juice?), and protien shakes (before going to bed)?

    conner, take the creatine before and after your w/o with grape juice and protein shakes before bed are ok. Drink some milk with it before bed because it has casein in it and it will last longer.
