Increase appetite
Great forum. I need something that will increase my appetite. During the wek I'm good because I work all day and go to the gym. My metabolism gets going but on weekends when I'm not working and don't workout I have no appetite. Can you recommend a supplement. Thanks.

i find the same thing, my solution has been to continue my mon-fri practice of pre-preparing 3 main meals and then filling in the gaps with 2-3 other meals. and yeah, just eat anyway.

ya just gotta make yourself eat anyway.
I have a problem remembering to eat on weekends. I get busy doing things and by the time I realize I'm hungry, it's been 6 hours since my last meal. |

Milk is for babies. When you grow up, you have to drink beer. Please read and comment on my journal |

Probably not the best idea to encourage the use of illegal drugs on here. That's just my opinion.

As far as the eating thing though, any suppliment that makes you hungry might inhibit seratonin so it wouldn't be a good idea. I'll do some more comprehensive research for you.
Buy a watch that can have an alarm go off every three hours and use that. I have one and use it to make sure I drink water every hour. Just giving yourself reminders and making sure you have food available so you don't resort to eating bad stuff would be the best idea. |

The key ingredients in the appetite supps I've found are Alkylamides, this interestingly enough is something used medically to boost phagocytic activity... which is puzzling 'cause this would mean that Alkylamides are antioxidants, like something you'd use to fight infections.
Other ingredients I've researched like Tynanthus Panurensis Extract, while not used specifically for appetite did have tests on mice that showed weight gain as one of the effects. |

that alarm idea is quite good.
have snack foods in the house that have roughly the right macro ratios of protein/fat/carbs or combinations of snacks that will have the right sort of ratios. Eat a bowl of museli and yoghurt at 3pm, who cares, better than nothing. French toast for breakfast. |
