This may sound like a stupid question but i am confused says to take right after workout. My question is on day i lift and do cardio(30 minutes) should i go to locker room right after lifting and consume whey before cardio or is it ok to wait till after cardio which can be up to 45 minutes after lifting or does it make any diff at all??? Keep reading about protein syn best to take right after workout does that include the cardio thanks
Your muscles wont go into catabolic state immediately, finish your workout go home and drink your shake. I take some aminos or drink whey prior to workout also so my muscles arent starved going into it. You know what I mean?
Not usually. You can though. I try to use it as little as possible and get my protein from real food. If I do take it on non workout days it's a scoop or 2 in the morning because I' m running late.
