BCAA's and my muscles

for the past 2 weeks, i've been taking about 4-6 grams of bcaa's a day.
my muscles feel harder and more solid.

is this in my head or are they really more solid from my supplementation?

stupid question, i know.

Yes they are, and you should grow at least 2 feet while taking them.

i take 10grams of bcaas during my workout in my water bottle. I've noticed a quicker recovery, but no more of a fullness or hardness. it could be that your not getting enough protien in your diet?

At my weight, bcaas are wastew of money because of the weight to bcaa ratio. I have heard great things about it, but havent used it on account of the above reason. Are there really good reasons to want to spend that much money on bcaas?

Have you been losing weight while taking them? Could be the decreased subcutaneous fat making the muscle seem to feel harder.

At first thought I wouldn't think taking BCAA's would effect muscle density in a noticable manner. I really don't know though.

Muscle cells are muscle cells, muscle tissue is muscle tissue, the only way I could see the actual "muscle" turn harder would be retaining intracellular water.
