    Question Meal replacments drinks

I am using met-rx original after workouts but I've stumbled across info on met-rx pro50 and met-rx 60 which is better of the three for post workout drink, or is there something better and maybe less expensive?

I've never used those Met-RX products, but I can recommend the Muscle-tech shakes. They don't taste bad and are designed to have somewhat of a time-release quality about them so you're not trying to absorb the 50+g of protein all at once.

Also, they thicken if you put them in the refridgerator for a little bit.

I'd stay with the Met-rx original. You can make your own post workout shake for under a buck a serving. I got help putting it together on this site. 35 grams of whey(fast digesting), 85 grams of dextrose(simple carb, spikes insulin levels quick), 8 grams of creatine, 150mg of ALA(aids in replenishing muscle glycogen). The taste is extremely sweet, but I can deal with it. Its a pretty effective mix and tailored for post workout. You can get most of the stuff from this site. The dextrose from home brewery kit sellers.
